Overview
As part of my work with Foreman Consulting, I was tasked with redesigning ResoNix's "About Us" page. While the original About Us page was packed with passion and rich backstory from its founder, it suffered from visual clutter, long scrolls of unstructured text, and missed opportunities for user engagement.
02
Business Impact
Quantitative metrics are still being collected for this page. Based on client feedback and product team's commentary, the redesigned About Us page has evolved into more than a brand story—it's now a strategic touchpoint in the customer journey. By exhibiting a concise mission statement, highlighting team expertise and building trust through partner affiliations, the page helps guide users from idle curiosity to buying with confidence.
03
Problem
The original About Us page felt more like a long-form personal blog post than a structured introduction to the brand.
Key issues included:
Walls of text without visual breaks
Lack of clear hierarchy or calls to action
Important brand elements (like team members, partners, and product trust signals) buried deep in the page
No clear funnel for turning interest into engagement or purchase

Solutions
Structure the Story – Break long blocks of text into digestible, themed sections.
Build Trust with Visuals – Use imagery of the founder, team, and hands-on craftsmanship to highlight authenticity.
Highlight Value Props – Clearly communicate what sets ResoNix apart: technical expertise, R&D, and community-driven ethos.
Create Conversion Paths – Insert CTAs that encourage visitors to shop, explore products, or contact ResoNix.

Ideation
Before jumping into high-fidelity design, I explored two initial layout concepts through quick hand-drawn sketches. These early iterations helped clarify the narrative flow, content hierarchy, and visual tone we wanted to achieve. I then pulled these sketches into Figma and started structuring some cleaner wireframes, using past page designs the team had done for ResoNix as guides for UI.
06
Key Imrovements
The Hero Section features a strong headline, a brief accent message, and a short subheader to immediately establish who ResoNix is and guide users deeper into the site. I also added two CTAs ("Explore Our Products" and "Meet the Team") above the fold to increase engagement.
The What Drives Us section distills the brand’s values—quality, transparency, innovation, and community—into a clean 4-column layout with simple icons and short blurbs, making complex ideals easily scannable.
Storytelling That Scales
I needed to make the brand’s story and technical credibility accessible without overwhelming the reader with endless paragraphs. I accomplished this by:
Condensing the company background into a single Origin Story, with a link to a Youtube video that explores deeper into ResoNix's history, owner, and best-selling products.
Featured a quote directly from the owner to capture his voice.
Humanizing the Brand
I created a dedicated Our Team section to showcase the people behind ResoNix. This section included:
Founder Highlight: Gave Nick's story prominence while balancing visibility across the team.
Consistent card design, clean photos, and typographic hierarchy for quick scanning.
Narrative Bios to emphasize expertise, passion, and authenticity.
CRO-Focused Enhancements
The Partner Network integrates trust signals such as partner logos, links to social media for added social proof, and team bios to showcase brand credibility and technical partnerships, helping new users feel confident in ResoNix’s reputation.
Finally, the Footer CTA offers a clear next step—explore products or get in touch—ensuring the page ends with forward momentum rather than a dead end.

Next Steps
01 - A/B Testing
As an initial next step, the team will be conducting A/B tests against the original page to ensure the new design is best optimized for engagement. Some potential revisions that could also be tested might include:
02 - Content Additions
Some potential additions to the page which could be tested for improved engagement:
Headline variations and CTA placements.
Adding additional video content—such as behind-the-scenes footage of the production process.
03 - Community showcase
Lastly, expanding on customer testimonials or showcasing community builds could turn the About page into a living showcase of ResoNix’s credibility in the car audio world.

Reflection
Redesigning the ResoNix About Us page was a challenge, specifically in finding a balance between authenticity and clarity. It 's tricky to preserve a brand’s personal origin while delivering a structured, modern experience that supports user trust and business goals. This project was a reminder of the importance of content hierarchy, and the need for brevity in storytelling.
